About Me

Brewing from the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. BrannBrew began much like every other Home Brewer, with a starter kit for my 29th birthday in 2015. I quickly got 'the bug' and have not looked back, trying to invent recipes with what was limited equipment and space.



Now doing full All-grain recipes, within my first few batches I came 5th in Strong Island's 7th Annual Brewing Competition.


BrannBrew's core range of beers are going by the year. Currently Panda & Son (hopped with the hops that share my dads initials) is the flagship beer, with Red Panda (Red IPA),  Galactic Panda (black IPA hopped solely with Galaxy Hops) and Saison of Love (a dry hopped saison) the others currently within the Core Range.

More will be added to this ranged, once the recipes have been tried and tested on an all-grain scale.





As a little nod to my wife and her illustrational talents, I incorporated a graphic from a birthday card into my 'brand identity'. This being a panda, which works quite well, as my friends gave me a nickname some years ago of panda.


This 'identity' I have now grown into designing my own label graphics, which utlises my real world talents of IT/Computing and digital multimedia design.




I also love things geek, and you could say this geek got the girl! Away from day to day things I like to immerse myself with things geeky including comics, games and cartoons.
